O. A. Olbrich wurde 1959 in Reichertshofen, Oberbayern geboren. Autodidaktisch erlernte er die Kunst, Silber und Gold mit Edelsteinen zu exquisiten Schmuckstücken zu verarbeiten.

Als Teenager beeindruckten ihn besonders die Bilder von H. R. Giger und die Mischung aus knochigen Formen und Metallen. Von dieser Zeit an sammelt er Knochen und Schädel, um sie vor dem Zerfall zu bewahren.

Seine Philosophie ist, dass alle Knochen respektiert und geehrt werden sollten, da sie die Struktur eines jeden Körpers darstellen. Seine philosophische und künstlerische Inspiration liegt somit in der Kreation seiner einzigartigen, organischen und zeitlosen Designs.

O. A. Olbrich was born in 1959 in central bavaria self taught in the art of metals, each piece is embellished and beautified with exquistite geometric forms in silver or gold, incorporating precious stones.

As a teenager, he first encountered the drawings of H. R. Giger and was enarmoured of Giger's marriage of skeletal forms and industrial metals. It was at this time he bagan collecting bones and skulls, rescuing them from disregard and elevating them to the sacred art object/fetish.

The philosophy being, that bones which form the support and substructure off all bodies should be revered and honored as relics in their own right. Functioning therefore as the inspiration both philosophically and artistically in the ceration of his unique, beautiful, majestic and timeless designs.
